The duo "Kolvane and Kerin" consists of Kolvane on guitar and vocals and Steve Kerin on piano and vocals. These accomplished musicians, singers, and songwriters may be unleashed from the bass and drum, but their hallmark high volt energy definitely supplies the necessary wattage to make an electrifying show. Kolvane has been writing and performing original material for over two decades. Decending from a long line of baptist preachers he is known for his passionate delivery of his songs and searing slide guitar work. Kerin grew up in the bayou country of Louisiana and cut his teeth learning the piano styles of James Booker, Professor Longhair and such. He has a very good read on the rudiments of New Orleans keys and has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Kolvane's guitar flows nicely with Steve's piano licks and they cover a wide variety of tunes. As a duet these guys are smokin'!!!
