KOMATOURA
Komatoura born from the dissolution of the band BLACK ANGELS,was born in the 2000's approximately after christ.
In the beginning the band presented a kind of black-hard-rock-metal, with dark atmosphere coulb be comparable to Black Sabbath and Marilyn Manson.
The decisive turning point happened at the time that Jeff (bass player of the band) met Erik (singer,guitarist) caused by nu metal-crossover culture and classical music....Together gave themselves to the sperimentation for a period of time... Up to the time of they met Binga (drummer), a young man very passionate of music and still a little useful at the drums but in the merit of his passion for the music(in particular trash and industrial),his perseverance and the desire to do..in few months, he grown in the artistic way until up to get the absolute fusion with the others.
From this moment on , the chaos caused from the different ideas of the members , create an unique and new genre, the genre KOMATOURA, that is a smart mixture of musical type with the thirst for knowledge.
Together ,they create songs , one after the other, transforming their thoughts in music, alo for this reason, the piece of Komatoura are never insipid or taken for granted.
The Komatoura have an essential formation, but in live it is literally overwhelming, taken fron the energy and power that they transmit, and their own primatic and unpredictable sounds, which vary from crossover the most demented to the hard rock old school, and from the industrial metal to the trash from roots.
This energy originate, clashes to give life to a surprising new sound which transmit to the listener all their determination and motivation.
we must say that from the career beginning,they always bring on the stage their own pieces, beleiving in themselves and also in their artistic creations.
the land in which they were born is not completely fertile for the proposed artistic genre, the people that follows the fashion and television stereotype, doesn't give support to the band which doesn't renounce but exploit this like a reason in addition to apply and sacrifice themselves.
In recent years, the band has literally let his light shine for his music, they gave concerts in every kind of place, traveling Sardinia, and doing also some stage in the peninsula, accumulating experiences, meeting another bands,collaborating with them, and especially knowing inside and out the hard world of music.
recentely, they accessed into the band, two new members, Bundo and Sodoma, that for a long time are friends of the band which play rispectively percussions, kettledrum ,various tools and guitar,this fact mainly makes compact the band , especially in live, which is strong point.
Actually, the band is engaged in their first album and their lives.
Finally, but not because no less important , they are searching their first discographic contract, which could give the opportunity to emerge and to be listening.
----I KOMATOURA----- nascono nell`agosto 2005 dallo scioglimento della Band ..Black Angels..formatasi nel 2000, dopo l`esclusione dal gruppo del cantante e del batterista, il gruppo si rinnova musicalmente e decide di cambiare il nome in ..KOMATOURA...
Il sound proposto si ricollega al crossover/ nu metal tuttavia bisogna precisare che la band ha il pregio di accoppiare ai tratti caratteristici del genere sperimentazioni dark e ritmiche pesanti.
Il pregio della band è quello di riuscire ad unire perfettamente le diversità musicali dei membri del gruppo i quali nascono da esperienze musicali differenti che creano una miscela omogenea di ritmi...
Il momento preferito della band è il live infatti suonano,realizzati sia in Sardegna sia nella penisola in collaborazione con altre band.
I testi questa volta sono anche in italiano e trattano tematiche e argomenti in cui è facile rispecchiarsi senza cadere nella banalità.
Il nuovo chitarrista della è Paolo Porceddu, mentre invece alla voce Erik Martinez, al basso Raimondo Grieco ed alla batteria Giacomo Beltrame.

L'associazione culturale no profit Artisende vi invita sabato 27 giugno 2009 alla manifestazione di arte – musica – giochi e tradizioni dal nome “Sonos de Fogu”, per rievocare le vecchie tradizioni ozieresi. L'evento prevede diverse attività che si svolgeranno durante tutta la giornata, a partire dalla mattina per concludersi a tarda notte. Lo scopo principale di tale iniziativa e’ quello di poter dare un contributo attivo affinché tradizioni e giochi di infanzia ,praticati da molte generazioni di ozieresi, non vadano dimenticati. Durante la giornata sarà adibita una zona dedicata al mercato di prodotti artistici e artigianali e ai prodotti enogastrononici, e vi sarà una parte del boschetto dove alcuni artisti locali esporranno le loro opere pittoriche. Ma anche i più piccoli saranno coinvolti nella cornice della manifestazione:nel tardo pomeriggio, infatti, verso le 19, andrà in scena uno spettacolo condotto da artisti di strada,giocolieri e clown, che intratterranno i più piccoli nella parte del boschetto dove sono presenti i giochi.
