After I went to the cafe that Streifte Geist was supposed to play at, and was told that it was canceled, the owner suggested I go to Tremont, for some indy electronic rock acts. On my way there I drove by Amos' and saw a bunch of people outside that looked cool, and I asked someone who was playing and they said Cannibal Corpse and Hatebreed, so I went to check that out instead. Hatebreed has been around since I was a little skate punk, I remember seeing ads for them in Thrasher magazine, but I had never actually listened to them until that night. They were about what I expected with a name like "Hatebreed", but I stayed for the whole set anyway.

This city is weird in that there isn't much to do most of the month, and then all the gothic/industrial type events will all be in the same weekend, sometimes several going on the same night. It seemed like stuff was more co-ordinated in Raleigh. Not that I want to move back or anything. Ramble ramble ramble ramble.
