Born in Brasilia, Brazil, in 1985, Joao Komka is professionally evolved with electronic music since 2002, when started to produce and play as DJ.

His style ever could be defined as electro and techno, also flirting with tech-house. His influences come from disco to industrial; in a fusion were the essence of the term "dance music" prevails.

As DJ has performed in several brazilian clubs such D-Edge and Vegas in Sao Paulo, Deputamadre and Roxy Club in Belo Horizonte, Fosfobox and Dama de Ferro in Rio de Janeiro, Garage in Campo Grande, Fiction and Pulse in Goiania, Floor in Cuiaba, Laika in Porto Alegre, in festivals like Motomix, Brasilia Music Festival, Universo Paralello, Trancendence, also being a frequent name on most of lineups in Brasilia.

His music have a characteristic sound and entered in many charts around the globe. His first EP was released in july, 2007 by german label Beautycase Records. Also started a parallel project, called Insektron, whose first EP "Sirens, Hives and Ways" was released through german label Kirchebaum Records on september, 2007.

In 2008 started his own label, Crunchy Music, looking for release his music and from other producers from Brasilia. His EP “Do You Feel Sexy?” was the first release and the track “You Sexy” got a TOP 3 weekly tip of the australian store Zoolooder.com.
