Since the Cloudberry released (056) Komon-Punk EP is sold out.... I decided to make Punk EP +(Plus) which has a re-recorded version of the song "What Happened to the Punk?". I wrote it at the same time as the other Punk ep songs after reading about punk history in the book "Please Kill Me".
4 TRACKS:
A1. I Made New Friends
B1. A Good Start
B2. Canadian Punker Boy
+ What Happened to the Punk?
I started Komon as an organbased project in 2001 recorded on a casette 4-tracker. Sometimes buy new equipment but it always break and I end up not being able to claim warranty for it, so I have to trust old organs and casios and the 4-tracker that is now a 3-tracker (yes, is't a bit broken aswell). The first song I ever recorded with a guitar was By Costal City, using a guitar that I had borrowed from the boyfriend that the song was written about. I had 5 min to record the guitar track, and I managed to do so before he came to pick it up after our breakup. That was in 2004.
After I finished the Silly Girl EP, I made and electroflirt with Haddaways What is Love, but I was listening alot to tweepop and c86 music so finally I had to pic up the guitar. My weird telecaster with a hockey stick head is called Twat (It is actually a Epiphone) and was purchased for 1500Sek. I love and Twat loves the ugly plastic effect pedal, a Zoom multi effect pedal intended for bass guitars, that I purchased on a parking lot in the outskirts of Lund, Sweden, where I live. I use FL studio to arrange drumpatterns, samples and keyboards. My computer just died on me, I learnt how to play bass with A Smile and A Ribbon and went on tour with them, I bought a new Mac Book Pro so I guess the sound will change a bit from now on.... :)
