Radio Skid Row is based in Marrickville and its signal extends as far as Wetherill Park, the Northern beaches, the Eastern Suburbs and as far as Cronulla.
Car radios tend to pick up the signal better, but if you have a strong arial you should have no trouble picking up the station in these areas. We are also Streaming...Go to:

Kompaktion is a Sydney based community radio show run by Justine Wahlin.
Justine has played bass around Sydney for the last 8 years in various now defunct bands including Lixivius, Papa's Daughters, Double Helix, Sooshish, Danny Wax, Glasgow and the 4th wall and others. These days an acoustic guitar and a nice couch are just the thing for a gradual reinventing!
During this long stint in the Sydney music scene it became painfully obvious that there is a lot of fantastic music and a need for more avenues to get it on the air...enter "Kompaktion"
You can listen in to the show in Sydney, Radio Skid Row 88.9fm 5-7pm every Tuesday where we feature local live music and music from just about every genre! check blog updates for what's what. We are also streaming at: http://www.skidrow.com.au/stream/ for anyone out of town.
