Here's for a limited time Javelin's remix of Kompleksi vs. Polytron's 'Moscow 1980'. The vocals were sung by Larkin Grimm, Annelise Grimm and Tom Van Buskirk of Javelin "in a warm attic in Georgia". Javelin hail from Providence, RI, USA, and have released a 7" called 'Oh Centra' for Finnish Lal Lal Lal; the same label also releasing Kompleksi's first 7" '(I Ain't) No Lovechild' in 2005.

Kompleksi ("complex" in Finnish) are Mike Not and pHinn, two ex-suicide candidates from Tampere (often called "Finland's Manchester"), who ride in a red Lada through the gloomy streets of their rainy post-industrial town; the home of ice hockey fanatics, world's last working Lenin Museum and countless sex shops.
They started making music together in 2002. Kompleksi's first 7" single, '(I Ain't No) Lovechild'/'Moscow 1980' was released in May 2005 on Finnish Lal Lal Lal label. They have also appeared on compilations of Bunker (NL), White Label Music (UK), Mate Recordings (UK), 267 Lattajjaa (FIN) and pHinnMilk (FIN). Furthermore, Kompleksi has created yet-to-be-released remixes for Finnish cult artist M.A. Numminen, "the godfather of Finnish underground" and the indie/electropop act Boys of Scandinavia.
Mike Not (star sign: Scorpio - keyboards, production, programming, sound engineering, mixing) has produced music since the early 90s under such monikers as Noise Production. Furthermore, he has produced and engineered records for such artists as the hip hop posse Nuera and their Finnish chart-busting Petri Nygård project, also the gothrock band Suruaika.
pHinn (star sign: Leo - vocals, keyboards) has since 1996 maintained a Website called pHinnWeb on Finnish electronic, experimental and leftfield music. His previous act was called Club Telex Noise Ensemble.
Everhad (star sign: Capricorn - laptop, background vocals/vocoder, keyboards, production, programming, sound engineering, mixing) is the latest addition, joining in 2008 as the third member of Kompleksi's live line-up and also contributing to the forthcoming Kompleksi tracks. Everhad also plays guitar for such punk bands as Entropia and AVK, and has created electronic music with such projects of his as Ever Had, Melkoinen, and Kings of Kaivinkone.
Kompleksi's debut album, Sister Longlegs Dances In The Disco, is available as digital download through iTunes (see above for the info on how to get it).
And for you DJs and vinyl freaks, the album is released also as a limited edition vinyl (VERDU-24), on Helsinki's Verdura Records, 15 October 2008.
Kompleksi are at the moment working on tracks for their second longplay, probably to be completed during 2009/10.
