Komuzika exists as a collective of Asian American musicians and industry insiders aimed at developing the musical talent and artistic passion of Asian American musicians and building a community around the vibrant Asian American music scene in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
Komuzika organizes workshops and panels to help artists develop their careers and refine their sound and style in a collaborative environment that fosters networking and the sharing of resources. We also organize artist showcases at some of the best venues in Los Angeles to feature the talent of up-and-coming Asian American musicians and raise awareness of the growing Asian American music movement.
Our members include musicians, producers, graphic designers, booking agents, video producers, event organizers and promoters, film and TV representatives, and music label executives who share this common vision and strive for these common goals.

T'is not just a season, but it is the beginning. We are evolving and growing and becoming. We are going to make changes and honor within the goodness around us and inside us and then... We will generate this energy and surround our soul with all that makes us feel happy and whole.
And with this we share, with others of like mind, honoring all that is gentle and kind. We'll surrender the negative and with this be true, to a Happy New Year, as change has become due. We will address any problem and develop a solution, and we will move forward with Zen Evolution.
Happy 2009!

P.S. And hey -- pause for a "stress check" -- a deep breath, back stretch, or 30 seconds with your eyes closed. Or flip out, go crazy and do all three! It would take less than 60 seconds, and feels great.
