Born and raised in Glasgow, brothers Kash & D.M.R. have been making beats as a duo for several years. Both had been making music individually for much longer, but decided that the natural thing to do was to bring their ideas and skills together and team up.
The name Koncrete comes from the idea that we feel we make music/beats which are of substance, strong and solid (as well as Phat!!), so therefore in a material form concrete is what matches that description.
Describing their sound as a body made of music. Each body part representing a different genre of music and the heart being Hip Hop.
Koncrete Beatz have built up a reputation as the duo to hear and watch for in the future.
