Although I am not Turkish, Turkiye is near to my heart and Turkish music occupies most of my time and imagination. Istanbul is a beautiful town; beautiful masajid, delish food, interesting people and wicked music and musicians everywhere you go.

I've been playing Darbuka for about 15 years; Islam is the true love of my life, but Darbuka is the close second. I hope every year to gain new skills and to help spread solid techniques to whoever is interested. I live in Seattle, Washington.
