Music
classical to death metal, if it's done well, I'll listen. If I had to choose a single CD to reflect my personality: Rush' A Farewell To Kings...
Movies
Action/Adventure: The Die Hard movies. Sci-Fi: Star Wars: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Revenge of the Sith. However, my favorite flik in this genre, Joss Whedon's Serenity. If you haven't seen this, treat yourself to a real imagining of star faring adventurers. Animation: Disney's feature films, Don Bluth's Secret of Nimh, most recently inspired by Meet The Robinsons.
Television
Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Simpsons, Heroes, and the sadly cancelled JFC, Deadwood, and Carnivale. Pretty much everything on SciFi channel, and select Cartoon Network shows.
Books
Horror, Sci Fi, and Fantasy. Faves: Stephen King's 'Salems Lot,and The Stand, William F. Nolan's and George Clayton Johnson's Logan's Run, Philp K. Dick's Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep, and Through A Scanner Darkly, and Stephen R. Donaldson's The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, The Unbeliever, and Stephen King's Magnum Opus The Dark Tower (start with The Drawing Of The Three)...
Heroes
All the people who never gave up, and made their dreams their realities.
I'm an East Coaster, that's lived in Groton, New London, and New Britain, CT, a stint of 6 years in Danville, IL, but have made my home in the north-eastern part of Massachusetts for the past 27 years.
I've been thru 3 major career changes, as a result of mergers & acquisitions, all the while pursuing a lifelong ambition (dream) of being part of a creative team on a 'comic book'.
That goal, dream, desire was realized last Halloween with the launch of the web comic, Kid Houdini and the Sliver Dollar Misfits, created by Dwight MacPherson and Worth Gowell!
The webcomic caught the attention of independent comics publisher, Viper Comics, and became their record breaking Free Comic Book Day offering. The first issue FCBD Special, May 3, 2008, will be followed by the graphic novel later this summer!
