What two words come to mind when describing this band? I think it'd be along the lines of "Bad Ass" or "Simply Spectacular". Konspiracy is one of the newest rising metal sensations from the midwest state of Illinois. Currently, as a four piece metal band, they are beginning to really make a name for themselves and acquire quite a following. This band really does not limit themselves. But to fully understand how Konsiracy has made it to their On The Rise Underground status, you must trace to their roots.
Konspiracy formed in late 2005 as Tony Lindsey, Tim Wall, Hunter Adams, and Riley Keith. The band name Konspiracy had came from guitarist/vocalist Tim Wall from the previous Konspiracy which began in early 2003. Soon after letting Adams go, the band completed the four piece line-up with addition of vocalist Brent Seidelman later that year. Debuting with their rough 3-track demo in the summer of 2005, Konspiracy began to gain a following. Also later that year, the band recruited Clayton Thompson and Will Cochran, both as guitarists.
As a six piece metal band, they began to rise in the underground sound status. During that time they also released a 7-track ep entitled Diary, under the provisions of "Not Quite Records" in 2006. Not long after the release, Brent had parted ways with the group. During their on-hiatus status with Brent's departure, Tim and Clayton began to write for the next ep. As the band began to search for their new lead singer, Brent's older brother Brody arose to take on the challenge. This time around, influences began to expand to a much more darker sound, but not losing the bands original sound.
From the time that Brody was in the band, the single "This Harboring Hate" was released to the masses, and Konspiracy was exposed to the next level. In this time, the band played handfuls of shows with major acts. The band also received numerous accommodations from local sponsors and were offered to be featured on the Indiana Metal Fest back in 2008. The band had drifted apart in this time due to work and some debt issues, so we're unfortunately unable to make the dates. Now that everything has been squared away, slowly they are making their way back into the mainstream. Tthe writing process seems to be going excellent. It's really excelling to the next level. Also featured on 90.1 on thursday nights, the C U IN HELL Radio features the guys. Be sure to keep your eye out for this band.
