I was born to a lesbian mid-wife on the 4th of july and had my first
bowel movement in utero. Not only was I covered in my own fecal matter when the doctors plucked me from my mothers body (i was a c- section baby) but I had also ingested most of it and nearly died within the first few seconds of my life.
I was then placed under the watch of my grandfather Lloyd who
worked in a mental institution and at most times I would accompany him at
work because he could not afford a sitter. I spent majority of my
pre-pubescent years at The Huronia Regional Centre, the institution at
which he worked, until 11 when I found out who my real mother was.
I moved into her small bungalow on Second Street in the small city of Orillia, Ont. It was there that I received my first audio cassette tape, Public Enemy's 'Fear of a Black Planet'. It was this cassette that got me into rapping and free stylin'.
Then at 13 I enrolled in a gun camp for the summer where I met my first love interest. Her father had an old geetar that looked like it was the first electic geetar ever made and it went by the name of 'Kay' which I dubbed it 'Shitty Kay'. This was my first geetar, although I did not own it.
I banged around on it until she and I broke up because she found another
girl. Shortly after I bought myself an acoustic Geetar of my own and
learned the A and E chords and still write songs with them to this day.
On Sept 11 2001 two airplanes flew into the world trade centre buildings.
I experimented with recording by hooking many tape players together and bouncing tapes around until I found how to layer tracks over eachother. In grade 11 I bought a four-track-audio-recording-system brought to you by Tascam. There was the beginning of such self produced albums as 'Run With The Kittens'(the audio cassette), 'The Action Is The Juice', 'Girls Weekend', 'Dance Advantage' and 'Audio Speaker Karaoke Telephone'.
Along side fronting a band called Run with the Kittens, I enjoy creating home recordings and demos. The likes of which are featured on this page. I am also one half of a movie production team titled "T Bag and Bonkers".
