I am currently a musician who owns a few internet businesses online, along with a Travel Business that has allowed me to travel freely earning the income I desire and has given me the freedom to design my life.
Sounds pretty awesome huh? Well it is! But it was no walk in the park. It was a nice bumpie roller coaster ride to get me where I am now. Shorter than others, because I studied successful people and modeled them.
As you all have once been told to go to college and get a good paying job so you can get that American 40 40 40 Dream plan, which is working 40 hours for 40 years for a 40 percent reduction in pay!
Who is Steve Schuitt Guy and What Can He Do for Me?
Well I have lived in Alaska and Hawaii all my life. I had always had big dreams of moving to lower 48 states, because I knew that's where everything was happening! I wanted to become a musician and go on tour around the world, but didn't really see how I could manifest this.
You see I grew up with alot of dream stealers, like I'm sure many have you have. Everytime I told someone how bad I wanted to play music and tour, I would always get the "Well that can be a nice hobby while you work a real job." or the "That's not gonna pay the bills!" or "You need a college degree, so you can get a good paying job first." So I conformed to the dream stealers and went along with their plan. Sound fimiliar?
Well after 2 years of bouncing from Undeclared to a Computer Science to Rad Tech and then a Music Major, I dropped out!
Why Would You Drop Out of College? Well around this time I had some simple paradigm shifts inspired by Brain Tracy.
"If you knew what you know now, would you have gotten yourself into the situation you are in? If your answer is NO, you must then ask yourself what am I going to do to get out of this and how fast?"
I soon began to experiment with making money online and decided that I didn't need a college degree to achieve my dreams of being an awesome musician.
Since I decided to drop out of college, I had to find a job to support myself, since my mother was very angery with me.
Jobs & MLM Suck... This is when I got myself a part-time job at FedEx and began my MLM junkie phase. I did the chain letters, been scammed by pyramid schemes, did the traffic exchange clicking to trying to get someone else to build my downline for me and nothing really worked that great! I soon began to realize that MLM was talking way to long to bring in a decent amount income in a short amount of time.
Being frustrated, I got myself a second job at a fancy restaurant called "The Glacier Brew House." Their I bussed tables and carried around heavy trays of dishes. My days were becoming a mental and physical work out. I would wake up around 9am, slap my alarm clock, rush to FedEx to stack and throw heavy boxes for 3-4 hours, then get off at 4pm rush to my Bussier job and work for 7-8 hours! This was a repeat for 6 days at a time!
By this time my girl friend broke up with me, because I wasn't there for her anymore and now I was sick and tired, stressed, lonely, and mad that I was working for someone else's dreams.
Hallelooya! As I began to lose hope fast, I knew deep down inside that there had to be a better way to find happiness. Then there was Coastal! I had finally started plugging into one of my businesses I had neglected and was determined to make it work. Once I decided this, everything started to come together and $1,000-$3,200 sales started rolling in. I began seeing an opportunity for myself and was able to FIREboth of my bosses and move to the East Coast!
True Freedom Begins...
Now I am able to travel anywhere I want in the world, making the kind of money my I desire and just enjoy more music like I had originally planned. I no longer need to answer to a boss and work hard for his dreams! I am my own boss now and you can be too.
If you are unhappy with your situation or you have big dreams that just don't seem possible manifest or just want to make more money, I feel your pain. This is another benefit I love about being having my Travel Business, is it allows me to help others get to where they truely desire to be.
