I read everynight before I go to bed... The book I am currently reading right now is "Best of 2004 Mystery Series", i picked up this book at the Midway Airport (airports are the worst places to buy books because no discounts) but some of the short stories that have been selected for this anthology are quite disturbing....

    My sponsor, Anne Whiting...her church sponsored my family to come to America in August 1979...She was the most important person in my life...She helped my family adjust to American life...She let me go live with her when I was 8 years old because my parents had a dream that their only daughter was going to have a better life...She treated me like her daughter, loved me like her daughter, and taught me like a daughter...She paid for me to go to a private, Christian boarding school in our town....She took me home to visit my family when she could...She then adopted two little girls from India, because she knew I was going to leave when I was 18....She got breast cancer...and never complained...Anne died on July 4th weekend in 1994...I miss her....but I know she is still close to me and watches over me....
