Formed in 2000 in Columbus, Ohio, Kopaz has become one of the great rock bands of the midwest. Well known for their captivating, high-energy performances, they strive to create dynamic rock songs that intensify when played live.
Interwoven guitar and bass, powerful drumming and curious synths and samples are staples of the bands style. Memorable melodies, strong vocals and excellent songs separate Kopaz from the rest.
After releasing two highly acclaimed records, Starboard Rail (2001) and Future Radiant Shine (2004), Kopaz went into hibernation. Talk of one final release continues...stay tuned. In the meantime, thanks for listening.
We just found out our new CD is currently being played on 150+ college radio stations across the US. We’re super excited! If you’d like to hear what all the hubbub is about listen to the CD’s songs at http://www.tiny.cc/listen2TGH
Hey! How's it going? I'm out on the road right now just chillin in a hotel getting some work done. Speaking of which we finally got up this cool live video of us playing Pop Chanteuse. Check it out and let me know what you think: http://thegorgeoushussies.narrlmusic.com/new-music-monday/9-21-09/9-21-09.html Ryan
Hey there I saw you in Columbus a couple weeks back and really liked your music.
If you ever want to play Madison, let me know. We can put together a couple shows here. I think subvocal would go well with your stuff.

After hearing about Kopaz for quite sometime we finally got the chance to see you at Skully's a few months back. Quite possibly one of the best live sets I've gotten to witness in a long while. I'm not sure what kinds of bands you're open to playing with but if ever there is a show with an open slot, don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks a lot and thanks for adding us.
