Music, specifically heavy metal. Gaming, particularly RPGs. Writing, I am in journalism after all. Besides that, other random things seem to pick my interest but nothing that I could really think up off right now.
Music
Styles: all kinds of metal, rock, some psychobilly. Beyond that, I like this and that, but those are the styles I mainly pursue.
Bands: Behemoth, Dillinger Escape Plan, Immortal, Enslaved, Mastodon, Sigh, Boris, Clutch, Strapping Young Lad, Slayer, Satyricon, Emperor, High on Fire, 1349, Ulver, Zyklon, The Haunted, At the Gates, Project Hate, Sepultura, Yyrkoon, Lamb of God, God Forbid, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian.
Movies
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Office Space, Nightmare Before Christmas, Sin City, Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, School of Rock, Spiderman 2, Metal: A Headbanger's Journey
Lords of Chaos, various collections of HP Lovecraft, Red China Blues, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Discworld. I'm more a reader of magazines, my favourite being Maisonneuve.
About me: Just recently freed student, bracing myself for this "real world" I've heard so much talk about.
I graduated from Journalism at Concordia University in Montreal. I'm a fairly eccentric person, but in an endearing way, or at least I assume as much seeing as how people hang out with me despite my groan-inducing jokes. Despite those, I do manage to get frequent laughs out of people.
There are those that may call me a nerd, because of my love of heavy metal and fondness of gaming. Well, those people would be right, but I don't particularly care much. I wear my feelings, likes, and dislikes on my sleeve. Anywone who doesn't approve can just choose not to hang-out around.
All those of you who enjoy metal, be sure to tune into my radio show, Metal for Supper: the Afternoon Edition, every Thursday afternoon from 4:00-6:00 at www.cjlo.com.
Who I'd like to meet: People who are interesting, but that goes with out saying. People who don't mind my tendency to state the obvious. I'm just up for meeting anyone who kinda stands out among the crowd, and does so not by being loud and obnoxious but by not exactly fitting into the norms set up by society. Some one with similar interests is always ideal, and someone with a good sense of humor is best.

hope you have a enjoyable holiday and take advantage of the peace and quiet. i was going to say hi at work when i went to pick up the pay but i saw that there was a meeting so i didn't try to find you and distract you from phone calls. word!
I like how you rebel against the norm and say "f*ck you" to MySpace by choosing to write me a comment during my birthday weekend and purposely subverting the message so that you don't mention anything about a birthday. You are subtle...
where the fuck have you been kevin! god damn you and your not coming on msn! i miss talking to you..and it's been forever since i've last seen you. expect a call before this week is over on plans to do something together!
