Latin Headhuntrz, consists of Eddie Acosta and Chaz Rodriguez. While growing up in separate corners of New York City and experimenting with their individual styles of creating tracks, the two were introduced by a mutual friend that believed that there could be a worthy chemistry in the joining of both their sounds and techniques. So the late 80's became the origin of Latin Headhuntrz, spearheading the New York underground dance music scene with a successful collection of periodic hits that continues until today.
The first song to emerge from Rodriguez's studio under the name of Latin Headhuntrz to find its way deep into the underground was "The Chant". Characterized as an early tribal track, The Chant became the precursor of several more, well received tracks. Shortly after, "Tell Me" was and began to pave the way in terms of Latin Headhuntrz laying their foundation in the underground. Next, the more notable "Lift Me Up", unleashed itself upon the dance floor with a belt of energy. "Lift Me Up" proliferated as an after-hours staple for sometime and eventually went on to immortalizing itself as a New York underground and Sound Factory classic track. Latin Headhuntrz newest succession of songs reflects their continued growth in style and also highlights their remixing skills. The well received cover of Jefferson Airplanes "White Rabbit" by the scrutinizing ear of the New York underground dance culture is representative of Acosta's and Rodriguez's eclectic tastes in music and their fine-tuned ability to interpret the song in a manner that allows it to work the dance floor. Other songs such as "Let Your Spirit", displays their more soulful tribal side, while "Ochun", has a Latin flavor to its beat. As for the name Latin Headhuntrz, it comes with a bit of surprise that very few of their songs are Latin in origin. The name was derived as more of a tribute to Acosta's and Rodriguez's ethnic background and not to their style of sound.
All began on June 2nd, 1970.

Besides growing up in the eras of
Disco, Freestyle, House and opinionated
rap, just growing up in NYC where music
keeps the fast paced rhythm of the city
moving and grooving, this young boy
is enticed. Music was everywhere
inspiring him, molding him, moving
him towards becoming the
music lover/producer that he now is.
The 70's, disco fever was in the air
and he couldn't help but to inhale it.
The 80's, being a typical inner city
teenager with so many feelings and so
much to say, along came rap/hip-hop
to help him state it.
Now comes the 90's and new millennium.
Techno arrives and arouses him with
deep emotions that he can't resist
and tastes the flavor.
This is the man he now calls "Krown",
a man with various depiction of music,
sometimes foreign to each other
but to as many have come to appreciate
and soon to recognize this man, father,
brother, son and now this lover/producer,
the title fits and fits very well.
Just intake his collections of beats
and rhythms and you will be crowned
with his climaxing style that you
can't help but to feel, bop and groove
