LATEST NEWS: At last, Korperschwache has a new site at www.korperschwache.com. The MP3 page is also back up. More current tracks will be added as soon as I get the time to do it, probably within the next month.

The latest release, available in November on Colony Records, is a double-cd collaboration with To Blacken the Pages called A WAY DARK. Follow the link for more info. The label is currently taking preorders and early birds will get a limited-edition postcard thrown in (the one prominently featured on the label site's front page).

The following albums are in the can and waiting to be released: DISTURBING PUBLIC FETISHES (coming out on ??? in 2010), BLACK DUST (coming out on Colony Records in 2010), and A HOST OF BAD VIBES (coming out late 2009 / early 2010 on the Russian label Abvgrd).

Some Korperschwache titles are still available directly by mailorder from Public Guilt, Crucial Blast, and Inam Records. I also still have some copies of BROTHERHOOD OF THE BOWL, ...HELEN KELLER, BROKEN BLADES..., the last two OUROBOROS releases, and FEAR THE HEX. FEAR THE HEX, a box set of three C-60 cassettes in a limited run of 100 copies, is now available from Peasant Magik.

BROKEN BLADES OF STEEL SCATTERED ACROSS THE NARROW WAY is now available from Crucial Blast. Limited to 300 copies and adorned with truly magnificent cover art, this is most psychedelic Korperschwache release yet.

EIGHT VELVET PAINTINGS FOR HELEN KELLER is now available from Inam Records. Limited to 100 copies (I think; something like that).

THE HEALING POWER OF PARANOIA is now available from Cut Hands. Limited to 70 copies.

DEAD FLOWERS AND A HANDFUL OF PLAGUE is now available from Faunasabbatha. Limited to 60 copies.

POISONED EMISSIONS FROM THE APOCALYPSE FACTORY, a split cd with three tracks from Churner and three from Korperschwache, is now available from Violent Noise Atrocities. The STAIRWAY TO HELL 3-inch can also be purchased here.

BROTHERHOOD OF THE BOWL is now available from Inam Records. Limited to 100 copies, the disc is available directly through the Korperschwache store or through Public Guilt, Crucial Blast, and a few other places. This is one of the beatless ones; Doktor Omega was in Paris getting her dominatrix boots shined during the making of this one.

The Korperschwache release on Dead Sea Liner (UK): THE JOY OF SEPPUKU. Five longish tracks of ambient, beatless death-drone noise.

Still available (but probably not for much longer): The Korperschwache release on Public Guilt: The limited-run cdr-ep "a mountain of skulls for the clueless cowboy" is available now. Get it while it's hot (and before it's gone).

The second and third installments of the OUROBOROS trilogy, RITUAL OF THE OUROBOROS and SACRIFICE OF THE OUROBOROS, are now available from Crucial Blast. Limited to 150 each, get yours while they're hot, blah blah blah. The original disc, VOICE OF THE OUROBOROS, has been sold out for quite a while now, but can be heard in MP3 format at the Korperschwache SOUNDS page.

THE STANDARD BATTLE CRY:

Korperschwache is psychedelic black metal drone noise or something like that. Nine of ten mothers agree that it's real evil-like and stuff, plus probably harmful if swallowed. (And there's a lot to... uh... swallow.) If you so desire, you can hear this stuff on convenient little round discs from such swell places as CRUCIAL BLAST.

RKF is the jackass in charge of Korperschwache. What began as a noise side-project in 1995 has become, since Autodidact ceased at the end of 2003, his main gig. His long-standing partner-in-crime, Doktor Omega, is still around to swing her golden hammer at those glacial tempos.

RKF has also been involved in such other unnatural disasters as Autodidact, UNHOLYDEATHMACHINE, and the financial train-wreck known as Monotremata Records (RIP). He currently plays in this shitty excuse for a band. He is the editor of the music ezine DEAD ANGEL (over ten years of reviews and "hijinks").
