Mob Research is the bastard offspring of legendary Killing Joke bassist Paul Raven (also Ministry, Prong) and guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite (The Mission uk, Peter Murphy, Tricky). Both born and bred in the midlands u.k, the pair jammed back in 1989 then went their separate ways, crossing paths occasionally over the years before reuniting in L.A. in spring 2007 to ignite the fire that is MR. Raven enlisted legendary Detroit frontman Kory Clarke (Warrior Soul), mad scientist Legion Davies on additional guitars, ex Queens of The Stone Age drummer Nick Lucero on skins and the beast was born.

Sadly Paul Raven passed away in his sleep in October 2007, more details and obituaries below.... his bass contributions to the album were already completed and the rest of the band have been busy finishing overdubs and vocals for the high anticipated debut album 'Holy City Zoo' in both New York City and Los Angeles, and have posted some samplers on MySpace to give its fans something to drool over until the Mob Research debut album is released in Spring 2009.

In 2006, The Stoned exploded straight out of 1972 and into 1973.

Like the Super Friends, they assemble in the great Hall of Monster Riffs to rock wherever and whenever needed. Right now, the music world has never needed The Stoned more.

And so they have heeded the call and come together; Scotty T. Dimebagger, Kory Clarke, Adam Dubin and Sebastian Correa have joined forces for truth, justice and Rock N’ Roll. They do not choose to rock because it is easy, they rock because it is hard. Yet rock they must and rock they shall. The Stoned are here for nothing less than to reclaim true rock music from the poseurs, the imposters and the imposers and restore it to its rightful place at the very pinnacle of sweet sound itself.

Flaccid riffs will not be allowed. Tepid solos will never be tolerated. Caustic chorus’ will henceforth be sneered at. Only the finest, the heaviest, the most soul shaking Rock music will The Stoned unleash upon the world.

Dispensing 70’s power rock forged in the fiery cauldrons of Detroit and New York and tempered on the anvils of British steel, The Stoned continue the musical tradition of The Stooges, MC5, New York Dolls, Free, Humble Pie, Faces and the almighty Ramones. For The Stoned doth rock, verily it is true, and what The Stoned hath rocked let no one cast asunder. Or to put it more simply, once you have been rocked by The Stoned, you stay rocked.

The Stoned was melded together by Kory Clarke of Warrior Soul. Kory serves as drummer and producer.

Scotty T. Dimebagger is the lead singer extraordinaire and chief troublemaker.

On guitar is Adam Dubin, director of some of the most massive music videos of all time including Beastie Boys "Fight For Your Right To Party" and Metallica "Nothing Else Matters."

And holding down the basic bass, the lowest lows is the Latin lover Sebastian Correa. Sebastian Correa.

Some bands measure their music in decibels. Mere decibels are inadequate for The Stoned. The Stoned measure their metal might on the Richter Scale. For when The Lords of Rock created The Stoned they looked down upon it and, lo, they judged it good.

Amidst many rumors it has been announced that Kory Clarke of WARRIOR SOUL will be the new frontman, effective immediately.

The news comes as the band returns to their Chicago homes following a successful European Tour. Trouble founder/guitarist Rick Wartell explains:

"It was a mutual agreement, you need to follow your heart in this business and if you are not into it 100% then it is time to move on. We all felt it was the best thing for all parties involved. There are no hard feelings. I'm sure Eric (Wagner) will continue making music and we wish him the best."

He went on to say, "We are very excited to have Kory step in and take over the vocals for Trouble. He's been one of my favorite frontmen in this industry for many years. He will add a new dimension that we can use.

It's not like we just picked out some guy to fill in, this is one of rock's most dynamic and creative frontmen in the industry. I know that when Trouble fans get a taste of what Kory does, they will not be disappointed at all.
