KOSHBAYER are a London based, female-fronted, alternative-rock-pop four-piece (unsigned) band. Their live shows are tight, loud and energetic. With a contrast of some quite heavy and aggressive songs alongside heartfelt, emotional acoustic ballads it can be hard to define this band but who ever said individuality was a bad thing? They are extremely metal influenced and their sound has been described as "commercial rock with ethereal vocals and catchy riffs". After a brief period of hibernation at the beginning of 2008, when they wrote and recorded their 2nd demo/Ep, KOSHBAYER have gone on to play 12 live shows in the last year at some major music venues in Central London. Including Bull and Gate, The Good Ship, Tommy Flynn's, Bullet Bar, Monto Water Rats, Camden Barfly and Rock Garden's Battle of the Bands, where they made it to the final and came 4th out of 40 odd bands. The band is now looking to expand their fan base and notoriety by playing gigs as a support act for established artists and performing for a wider range of audiences. They are currently mixing their 3rd Ep which will be available in June/July. Also in the pipeline the band will be performing an industry showcase at the annual Jar Music Group Breakout Festival in assosiation with Barfly and 02 Academy. The competition's top prizes include an international tour and record deal. KOSHBAYER are very excited about what 2009 holds for them and can't wait to share the experiences with fans.
