My soundtrack is the result of taking a stack of singles, a crate of records, a tower of cds and mixing them together with swagger, groovy vibes, "a little bit o' soul", and the all important cowbell. It's music that moves the feet (i.e. The Isley Brothers, INXS, Franz Ferdinand). It's music that stirs the soul (i.e. Donovan, Social Distortion, Elliot Smith). It's music that deserves to be heard (i.e. De Novo Dahl, Cliff Hillis, Venus Ray and Middle Distance Runner). The soundtrack is fueled by Classic Tracks, Overlooked Gems, and Pop which can be British, Powerful or Independent.

So many channels so little on. Scrubs, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, HBO Sundays, Best Week Ever, and Wait Wait. How many more crappy reality shows and home makeover shows can they foist on us.

Hakkımda: I get to DJ at 9:30 club in Washington, DC, one of the best nightclubs around. In fact winner several years running of the Pollstar award for best nightclub.
As a DJ I support local acts, indie Power Pop, Garage Rock, Brit Pop, and not afraid of the occasional guilty pleasure. Of late I've been listening to a lot of 60s Soul, both chart topping and lesser known. I've also spun many of the artists listed as Myspace friends.
By day I'm a cubicle dweller supporting servers, by night a media consuming beast. I'm fueled by too many magazines, forums, blogs and mailing lists. Have been known to go on quests to save Princesses.

2) are you doing anything this saturday night? if not, you should come to Big Art Show at Rock and Roll Hotel...my photography and some of my garments will be up, and deleted scenes, stamen & pistils, let's french, mossyrock, and the hard tomorrows are all playing sets. so it will be sweet.

We are heading into the studio with Nic Hard, producer of The Church, The Bravery, Aberdeen CIty, The Kin, etc. We will resurface sometime in May with some great new recordings and a show at The Annex (May 24, 8 PM) !!! Until then...
