    four years after launching the kostbar musik und tanzbar musik labels, both Ronald & Rico aka binary & durden can look back to a successful year. In Dezember 2010 the 50th release will appear. Kostbar and tanzbar tracks in the cases of for example Sven Väth, Gabriel Ananda, Tom Middleton, Loco Dice, DJ Hell, Miss Kittin, Jeff Samuel, Tiefschwarz, Nudisco, Lars Wickinger, Marc DePulse, Tom Pooks, Maxime Dangles, Patrick Zigon, Jussi Pekka, Holger Brauns, Björn Wilke, Sebbo, Steve Lawler, Joachim Spieth, Martin Eyerer, Emerson, Helmut Dubnitzky, Florian Meindl, Tocadisco, Anthony Collins, Sascha Sonido, Markus Kavka (MTV), Mijk van Dijk and many other DJs and producers have become well known and have become established. The Chiemsee brothers have been present in the electronic music scene since well over a decade. After cooperating with SYN Records, a release at baccarat:music and the Netlabel FOEM as well as much experience with other labels, they decided to go ahead an launch their own label. “We should have risked going ahead with the label a few years earlier.” said Rico and Ronald. Maybe the timing was not so bad after all as they now had the experience and contacts vital to establish the labels professionally. They started with strong partners, such as djshop, deejay.de as well as Musicmail, Discomania, Word and Sound, Kompakt and Neuton as a world-wide distribution partner. More recently deals with Beatport, What People Play, DJTUNES etc. for digital releases have been added to the list. At the end of 2006 the label kostbar|musik was ready to go. This label primarily releases electronic and tech-house tracks. Apart from that kostbar|musik also features unknown talents. Shortly after establishing the label it became evident that for the strong Minimal and Tech-House market a sub label had to be created, and thus tanzbar|musik was born! Until now one could hear well-known Acts such as Marc DePulse, Phonogenic, Steve Lawler, Gabriel Ananda, Robert Babicz, David Garcet, Lars Wickinger, Patrick Zigon, Holger Brauns, Goldfish & Der Dulz, Gerald Peklar as well as various local Heros. Due to the fact that the label receives a lot of material from all over the planet, under which a lot of the time top quality stuff can be found, more recently a digital label - tanzbar|digital have been founded, which together with all great Digital Stores offers these tracks as digital releases. Last but not least the Labelguys founded a vinyl only one sided label called workbench to push the black gold. She not only say "Save the Vinyl", she live it and proof that with workbench.
