Bio:

Well, I was born in Lappajärvi, Finland. I went through the Finnish school system (college etc). When I was 13 my parents bought me drums which I played until I was sixteen. Then, some of my friends (with whom I played at the time) made me believe that I could sing and play drums at the same time. I was foolish enough to try that. Of course, it didn..t work. It seems that I was an even bigger fool when I quit playing drums and concentrated solely on singing. By accident, I later found myself studying vocals/music. I noticed that I pretty much liked it! That..s how I ended up studying vocals in Helsinki at the pop/jazz conservatory. That was in autumn of 1992. The following summer in 1994, I joined Stratovarius when they were already in the studio recording "Fourth Dimension". Since then some more albums have been released (if you are interested, check out www.stratovarius.com. I don..t want to go through all them now) and we toured a lot. My first solo album Waiting for the Dawn came out in 2002. The second album Coldness was released 2004. Third album "Serenity" was released 2007.
