Well, I was born in Lappajärvi, Finland.
I went through the Finnish school system (college etc). When I was 13 my parents bought me drums which I played until I was sixteen.
Then, some of my friends (with whom I played at the time) made me believe that I could sing and play drums at the same time. I was foolish enough to try that. Of course, it didn..t work.
It seems that I was an even bigger fool when I quit playing drums and concentrated solely on singing. By accident, I later found myself studying vocals/music. I noticed that I pretty much liked it!
That..s how I ended up studying vocals in Helsinki at the pop/jazz conservatory. That was in autumn of 1992. The following summer in 1994, I joined Stratovarius when they were already in the studio recording "Fourth Dimension".
Since then some more albums have been released (if you are interested, check out www.stratovarius.com. I don..t want to go through all them now) and we toured a lot.
My first solo album Waiting for the Dawn came out in 2002. The second album Coldness was released 2004. At the moment I am working on my third album.
I dreamed mighty, formidable and passionate; spoke the vague language of the stream; it was a love overflowing with madness and fire, rolling stone eternal as irrigation. Then sonel sad, like a great sun. which turns its head to the night of fire, then laughed and her mouth as tender as a prayer; sounded his soul crystals from the source. And today that dream is vibrant, and soft and laughing and sad, that all the darkness and saw all the iris; that fragile as an idol and eternal as God. About life all its majesty rises and kiss falls burning at its plant perfume, fire in a leafless flower for two...

We are happy to see a good year go towards a good end. Again we will be playing our Christmas Show in the Moscow Megasphere - and that really makes us happy. The Moscow crowd is one of the best in the world and we would love to have you all with is. It's gonna be one hell of a rock party!
