Well, I was born in Lappajärvi, Finland.
I went through the Finnish school system (college etc). When I was 13 my parents bought me drums which I played until I was sixteen.
Then, some of my friends (with whom I played at the time) made me believe that I could sing and play drums at the same time. I was foolish enough to try that. Of course, it didn..t work.
It seems that I was an even bigger fool when I quit playing drums and concentrated solely on singing. By accident, I later found myself studying vocals/music. I noticed that I pretty much liked it!
That..s how I ended up studying vocals in Helsinki at the pop/jazz conservatory. That was in autumn of 1992. The following summer in 1994, I joined Stratovarius when they were already in the studio recording "Fourth Dimension".
Since then some more albums have been released (if you are interested, check out www.stratovarius.com. I don..t want to go through all them now) and we toured a lot.
My first solo album Waiting for the Dawn came out in 2002. The second album Coldness was released 2004. At the moment I am working on my third album.
Something nice for you. Belive in the fairies, that make dreams come true. Belive in the wonder the stars and the moon. Belive in the magic from the fairies above. The dance on the flowers and sing song of love. And if you just belive and always stay true, the fairies will be there to watch over you.
