We designed and implemented a new approach to wastewater treatment in a constructed wetland. This was the first commercial application of the technology for a commercial use in North Carolina. We negotiated with city, county and state officials to obtain all appropriate permits. We had to respond and react to significant community and governmental concerns regarding the project. The project is now serving as a model for innovative wastewater management. With our creative staff and comprehensive portfolio of real estate services, we offer personalized solutions to the most challenging of problems.

RESPONSIVENESS:

In our business, it is not just what you know and how well you can do it; but also how quickly and efficiently you can respond to a variety of client needs. In order to achieve this objective, we rely on talented people whose skills are leveraged by technology and delivered in the context of long-term relationships. We supply our staff with the tools, technology and support to respond quickly to a client's request. Our staff is constantly in communication with the office and client via remote access workstations and cellular phones. We remain available to respond to clients' requests on their schedules. Who I'd like to meet:

In late 2008 and early 2009 we acquired several properties in Greensboro, NC – two shopping centers in the Northeast area (150,000 SF and 66,000 SF), two buildings on Battleground Avenue, a 1.7 acre corner on Battleground, 9 acres of land on Church Street, and a freestanding building on Green Valley.

In the last few months we’ve done deals with Walgreens, Burger King, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Golden Corral, Food Lion, Verizon, Dunkin Donuts, as well as various regional retailers and restaurants.

In 2009, I’d like to do a deal with you. At our website www.KOTIS.org, you’ll find all kinds of information about our available properties. There are 52 different properties in the Carolinas listed by type, mapped out, and cross-referenced. We’ve included area maps, aerials, and descriptions along with pictures or renderings of our properties.

We have additional information and cool tools in our office and on the web – ArcView generated maps, six foot long labeled aerials, site plans, space plans, CAD files, and helicopter aerial video tours of entire streets – designed to help you easily evaluate our projects and submarkets. You’ll find contact information on the back cover as well as instructions on how to access our tools via the web or by contacting our office.

One of the really neat things we’ve done recently is to create a section titled MyKotis on our website www.kotis.org. On the site you can create an account, track properties that meet your needs, make notes, save searches, and email properties to others. Of course almost all of our information including videos of the spaces is available on the website as well.
