Donate now to Jack Rootoo Family Fund - Jack Rootoo - co-founder and guitarist for Lou Miami and the Kozmetix died last year of cancer. His friends and fans are collecting donations for his wife and two children.

In the picture on the left I'm imitating that ridiculous portrait of George Michael on one of his albums in the mid/late 1980s. These are not self-portraits in the most strict sense: I set up the lights, the camera, tripod, etc, with a friend sitting on the stool, then we changed places, and he took my photograph...

i spend soooo much spare time watching lou's videos on youtube....why did this guy never ever achieve what he truly deserved....to be honest i think it was the way marketing and promoting bands were so obsolete back then.....had youtube and myspace been around in the 80's.....we would be listening to Lou & the koz today on fm radio as well as xm

I met up with the old bass player from HolyCow who used to play with you guys in RI, I gave him the copys of your records that i put onto CD cause you cant find your stuff around anywhere, is there somewhere else I could send people if they wanted to buy Lou Miami stuff?
