I have been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years and we've made our home in the Houston area.



I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. My earliest recollection was when I was working side by side with my grandma at the young age of 7. My fondest memories of her were at the sewing machine. I value everything she taught me, still using and perfecting tips/techniques she passed on.

Over the years, I have done some odd and end sewing till I became a SAHM in 2003, after working in the healthcare system for over 9 years, turning my hobby into Krafty Kreations by Melissa.

The KozyPal cart cover was born after my own personal use of other store bought cart covers that were not living up to my high standard as a "real" mom. My inspiration comes from my children and being a mom, without them to aid in my creativity (and concern about germs and illness), KozyPal Cart Covers would not be what it is today.

To date, more than 5,500 KozyPal cart covers have been hand created. Over 70% of my orders are either KozyPal owners that come back to purchase them as gifts or shoppers that have seen my work in person. I take great pride in the high quality and craftsmanship that goes in to all of my work. I strive to maintain a great reputation through the quality of my work, excellent customer service, and my dedication to helping other moms.
