About me: Best known as the keyboardist for progressive rockers Overworld Dreams, Ken is a multi-instrumentalist who has played keyboards, bass, trumpet, trombone, and vocals in various bands and studios up and down the east coast. Also, Ken is involved in a new project, Left on Red, which will concentrate on smooth jazz/fusion material.
He has performed on the stage of the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, was a former band member of Grammy nominee Cecil Parker and Gale Jackson, and played in two bands with former McCoy Tyner sideman George Johnson. Ken even had the privilge of fusion master Scott McGill perform on two of his original tracks. Recently, he has been experimenting with ambient music as well, and two of his short pieces will appear on a science documentary by film maker Aramis Sanchez. Ken has also performed in the same venues as Cinderella, Britney Fox, and Bon Jovi, as well as many Atlantic City casinos and top clubs in the New Jersey/New York/Philadelphia area.
When not playing or recording music, Ken is alive and well teaching school in southern New Jersey.
Who I'd like to meet: John Keegan, Rick Wakeman, Bill Gates, Keith Emerson...grr, this list can get very long!
Hey Ken, Sorry I've been out of touch for a bit. Between the holidays and being on the road I've had very little time. I'll be contacting you soon about that long overdue jam. Hows your basement studio coming along?
