The purpose of Kapatirang Pilipino shall be to provide creative venues for social interaction through political empowerment, Filipino/Filipina- American cultural and ethnic awareness and promotion of academic excellence at UCSB and its surrounding communities.
UCSB! we're so excited about you guys coming that we want to put you on the list with us at XS this saturday. not a FASA event of course. XS is the new club at encore btw. we just need a head count, number of males and females. Be sure to bring your dress shoes gents! and no ripped jeans. Furthermore, in celebration of one of my board's birthday, you all are invited to a house party this thursday (I dont know when youll be coming in). feel free to just give me a call; text messages would be easiest probably. We haven't set it in stone what we want to do for the weekend after sportsfest. We're having a bit of a financial problem. However, knowing that you guys will be here, maybe it would be easier to plan something that we can all get together with! it will be a great chance for the members to interact with another school outside of friendship games or sportsfest. I will keep you guys posted. As far as bowling goes, I hope you bring your A-game cause we're killin it right now! I will not be at sportsest due to prior engagements before I even ran for president, but the rest of my board will be there. Feel free to approach them! Otherwise, I will keep you guys posted.
