Beleive it or not, I do read. Alcoholics Anonymous (the Big Book), The Purpose Driven Life, Misery. I like Ted Dekker's trilogy The Circle. I read them while I was living in the residence provided by Kern County, out there on Industrial Farm Road. Nice place, but I enjoy the whole freedom experiance more.
Heroes
Mom & Dad. Ashley. Everyone who was there for me when I needed it most. There was no way I would have taken the road to recovery alone, so they walked with me. Pushed, pulled, and even carried me at times. They refused to let me give up, and truely saved my life.
