About KQRP RADIO

KQRP 106.1 FM is a Low Power FM (LPFM) radio station located in Salida, California and is licensed by the FCC. This station is owned and operated by Fellowship of the Earth and provides independent news and music with a focus on community issues and events.

KQRP encourages independent artists to submit their original music for airplay on our broadcast station.

WE CURRENTLY CAN NOT BROADCAST ARTISTS WHO ARE ASCAP/BMI/SESAC!

KQRP is currently soliciting for donations to cover these license fees in order to bring a larger variety of popular music to the local community. We would primarily like to focus on the Rock genre as our local market no longer is being served by a local radio station.

LADIES ROCKING EASTER!!! These are going to be some fun bands to play with! You can check them all out in our top friends! The SINtral valley roller derby girls will be there too! We have tickets if you need them, so all you have to do is ask, and we'll hook it up for you! SEE YOU AT THE SHOW!!!

He is an amazing addition to the band, and we can't wait to get him in the studio and get busy finishing our upcoming C.D. "Certificate Of Authenticity"! We'll have our first show with him this Friday! Come on out and check out the show! It's a great line-up on a Friday night! If you have'nt already checked him out, we recommend that you check out Lance Lopez! The guy is an amazing guitarist! Here's a clip! Hope to see you all Friday! It's going to be a ROCKIN' good time!

Raginpit Magazine - www.RPM-BANDS.com - Now Open!	Nov 7 2007 6:52 PM Hey people; Just saying hey what's up and wanted to see what the deal was with the Raginpit's Event Calendar? I jumped on our front page to see only one show posted...hmmm. I think maybe something should be cleared up. Imagine for a second if you would; being able to go to one page and finding every contact and address for all the active venues possibly open along the US West Coast. Now just think how that could really help your band. It's a no brainer it can only happen one way. If you are looking for Raginpit to help support your shows, then you need to help us. Help us by posting events and flyers for your band coming up. Tell other bands you know in the area, to post theirs too. Remember every time you post an event, you get a link going back to your Myspace creating even more exposure. We want to be at the shows also, but we DO NOT read event invites here on Myspace just too many and we do not watch bulletins for shows. Just being real we are working with a few thousand bands so lets all work together and make our lives a little easier.
