About me:

"He's a poet, he's a picker
He's a prophet, he's a pusher
He's a pilgrim and a preacher
And a problem when he's stoned
He's a walking contradiction
Partly truth and partly fiction
Taking ev'ry wrong direction
On his lonely way back home"

Just curious, what's the story behind Kramers Wall? Is there one?

Seriously. It's funny because it's true.

And I think I'm going to finish out the Master's degree after I graduate in December and take the Bar in February. I think I'm Type AAAAA++.

Hope you and the wife are well. =)

Dude, that is awesome. My brother and his wife are really liking it over there, especially now that they have a couple dogs. Between school, work, and those puppies, they stay pretty busy.

I thought of you the other day and how much I want to work with you again as I'm losing count over how many times I've told stories about the making of RfaFwMtND. That was such a blast. I'm hoping to take a vacation for a week to come back home and see some family and friends. I'll let you know more at that becomes more definate.

I like it here, but I miss the South in my soul. I was telling Jocelyn Bailey (who is from Chattanooga) a few weeks ago about a vision I had. I had this feeling, like how sometimes in dreams you know something but can't explain how you know it. The vision let me know that I would die married in Memphis or single in the Smokey Mts. It was kind of weird, kind of morbid, but kind of cool too.
Eitherway, I'm not in a big hurry to move back to either of those places, but I guess Middle Tennessee seems pretty safe. I've thought about New Orleans and Saint Louis too. I can get my fill of Mountains here, but I miss the mighty Mississippi so much.

I've written a few songs, and have been filming a pretty good bit for a documentary on World of Warcraft. One song is an emo-goth parody song for a band I was in call Emo McShagmobile which was an emo-goth parody band. The song, called "Bela," is about a boy who falls in love with a girl named Bela, who turns out to be a vampire but he gets over it and becomes a vampire himself so that they can be together forever. The feel of it starts off Dashboard, but shifts to Type O Negative. The other called "Fathers" tells in summary the life story of my own and some young men I've known's fathers. It's fairly uptempo and in a major key, so it stills feels like a pop song despite its somewhat serious subject matter. Hopefully I'll luck into the record deal I'm not persuing and you'll hear them on your local radio, but if not, I'll try to let you hear them somehow anyway.

I'm sure you've been busy too, but what creative endevours have you been working on?

From Wikipedia:

"The Nagasaki Police were an American underground rock band from 1989 to 1995. The founding members were Chris Corder (guitar/vocals), Dan Everson (guitar/vocals), Patrick O. Chapelle (bass) and Barney Adams (drums). In 1994, Joshua Harrison replaced Adams on drums and the group became known as Chris Corder and the Nagasaki Police. This name change is rumored among fans to be the cause of their break-up, though none of the former members have confirmed this.

"After the breakup, Chris Corder proceeded to enjoy a semi-successful underground solo career. He wrote a song that many consider the penultimate rock song, "Kramer's Wall", although he has only played it live once and refuses to record it. Corder is usually cited as the father of the underground "Post" movement.

"The other ex-members of the band proceeded to fade into obscurity until 2005, when rumors of a possible "Chris Corder and the Nagasaki Police" reunion began to circle. Pitchforkmedia ran a story on the purported reunion, which was quickly retracted and deleted from the website when Chris Corder denied the rumors and threatened legal action.

"According to the controversial article, the band's ex-manager Seth Wesley Diggs-Freeman had announced the portentious reunion, which he later denied. Barney Adams, the original drummer, was quoted in the article as opposing the reunion for financial reasons, since he wouldn't be drumming on the tour. The article indicated that Dan Everson, Joshua Harrison and Patrick O. Chapelle were unavailable for comment as to the truth or falsity of the reunion rumors. They have all since denied that a reunion was ever in the works, however.

"In 2006, Barney Adams was quoted in the NME as saying 'Chris Corder is a pretentious prick, and I'd never f***in' work with 'im again. Still, Kramer's Wall, man... what a song, man... what a brilliant f***in' song.'"
