About me:

I'm a recent 30-something southern girl who has for years battled a social condition called agoraphobia. To mix things up and keep it fun, I also suffer from severe panic attacks and Social phobia. Those are my cons. My pros are that I strive to be a nice person, read alot, love my man, desperately want a pet again while trying to find my place in all of that.

I'm an optimistic personality. I prefer laughter to tears. I'm fiercely loyal but I'm also pretty easy going. I have only been truly angry maybe half a dozen times in my life. I can be lazy some times but if I start something I'm going to finish it. Unless it's writing. I want to be a writer but struggle with finishing projects once I've completed the plot in my head. It's one of my faults.

I have eclectic interests. I collect Breyer horses, enjoy watching old westerns, and have read almost the entire library of Louis L'Amour books. I also collect fantasy novels, romances by Betty Neels, dragon figurines and Harry Potter items. I love European history but I've also studied Greek and Mesopotamian. I enjoy crocheting clothing for teddy bears and I've handcrafted jewelry on occasion. I paint, draw and sew with various degrees of success. I enjoy dungeon crawl games and play Maple Story online. I'm addicted to raising virtual horses on a little french game called Howrse.

I am a non judgmental person. I have many friends ranging through various age groups, educations and lifestyles. I like to get to know a person before I decide whether I like them and many times I do seek those who need a friend most. Often these are the people considered not the norm, which is sometimes confusing to others because I am very much your average person. Many times I have been asked why I talk, chat or simply deal with someone in particular that everyone else seems to dislike. Simply, I don't dislike them. There is something in every one worth making friends with.

I believe religion is a completely personal endeavor. The way in which I see and deal with God may not be the way someone else does. This is why I have friends from various religions. I do not believe that I should dictate to them that they must see and feel God the same way I do. I can not see the reasoning behind saying I am Christian, therefore you must be Christian as well. That is a personal decision, it goes directly to the heart of the person and their heart is not mine. My heart will be judged alone and so will theirs and I know I am a good person and so are my friends, regardless of the name of their religious affiliation.

And I suppose that's me.. not quite in a nutshell and certainly not everything, but it covers most things.
