Art, music, film, photography, writing, reading, dance, cooking, decorating, travel, learning, teaching, spirituality. Making new friends and sharing common interests.
Music
I enjoy all genres of music, some more than others, but I have very eclectic taste and like variety. Music truely is the universal language.
Movies
I have eclectic taste in film also. I like just about anything except horror and/or the excessive, unnecessary use of violence and vulgarity to get a point across.
Television
Again, I enjoy a wide variety of programming. I watch anything from PBS to History Channel, forensics, Fine Living, HGTV, Food Network, movie channels to Cartoon Network. Sadly, there aren't many sitcoms I like right now.
I usually end up watching the old ones, like The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver and Andy Griffith.
Books
I mostly read fiction and biographies, but will also read books on hobbies I enjoy or books about animals or history.
Heroes
All those who have stood up for our rights and freedoms and even sacrificed their lives for them. My father is one such person. He served in Korea and Viet Nam and he is
my most respected and admired personal hero.
About me: I'm a seeker and a perpetual student. I love to study people, animals, places and life in general. I love teaching and I love learning. Life is a process, a spiritual journey that will go on long after this lifetime as we know it is over. The soul has no beginning and no end. What comes around goes around, so I strive to treat others with respect and make ammends for any harm I do, intentially or not. I hope to leave behind as much beauty and love as possible.
Who I'd like to meet: Many people in many genres of life: art, music, film, education, philosophy, politics, spirituality, sports, etc. Too many to mention, but everyday people are fascinating as well. Fame doesn't interest me as much as someone using their mind, heart, emotion, talents and skills to the best of their ability to express common human experience in a way that inspires, stimulates and motivates others to do the same.
Hi Jayme! Yes, I am still around. I've been having probs with the computer and it's been so frustrating some days. Sometimes I can't even get online. Then when I do it's so slow and it writes words for me. I just get aggravated and give up. I've been cleaning it out trying to figure out what's causing it. I'm also teaching an extra class and have had a couple of meetings with the Jazz Foundation this past week. I started to write you back last night and I couldn't scroll down on my messages so I gave up. Then today I accidently erased your last message. I am so sorry. I still don't feel good. My allergies are going crazy. I love SpongeBob! What a cute message! You even got him to speak Native American! Very cool! Hope you're having a good Saturday. Love, Tina
