    Man, do people have a favorite? I am the same with music as I am with books. I really get into local talent. I support grassroots efforts all the way around.......from handmade goods to buying music from local bands! My favorite local band is Gabriel Harley and Spent Prophets. I think they disbanded after several years of awesome tunes, but they will forever be my favorite! Of course I LOVE LOVE LOVE Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Grateful Dead, James Taylor, Eagles, Ani Difranco.......and many others! I will make up a list for ya some day!

    Before I give a book list, just know that I have more books than anything! I have been lugging around boxes of books with each move for years.....I have collected enough to fill a small home library. I am reading constantly...try to quench my thirst for knowledge! ..1. Ishmael by Daniel Quinn: Read it, it will change your life!.. ..2. I love Ayn Rand: ..The Fountainhead ..Anthem ..Atlas Shrugged ..The Virtue of Selfishness ..Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal ..Introduction to Objectivist Epistimology.. ..3. Anything John Updike (I swear he is the next great american novelist): ..Rabbit Run ..Rabbit at Rest ..Rabbit is Rich ..Rabbit Redux ..Couples ..Hugging the Shore ..The Witches of Eastwick ..Bech is Back ..Toward the End of Time ..Buchanan Dying .. AND, I have about a gillion more on my shelves that I could list *smiles*.. ..3. Anything Simone de Beauvoir (favorite The Second Sex).. ..4. I also LOVE a few of my math books: Abstract Algebra, Number Theory and so on!
