A good drink, limited popular culture, splashing in puddles, string things.
Music
Pinback, Ween, the Postal Service, Weezer, Pixies, Cake, Rufus Wainwright, the Shins, Third Eye Blind, Reggie and the Full Effect, Wilco, The Apples in Stereo, Bishop Allen, Neil Young - I like oldies, goodies, 80s pop & fun rock (like Huey Lewis), washed up 90s performers, some electronic music, and tons of indie rock.
Movies
should be entertaining, at least, but convoluted and thought-provoking as well.
Books
are lovely, dark, and deep... unless they're about something ugly like politics, or corporate America. Not to be rejected outright; those too can be interesting.
Some favorites are Ayn Rand's the Fountainhead or F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and Damned. I really enjoy Terry Goodkind's books as well.
About me:
I am a student and artist who resides within an interesting subculture. It is surrounded by creative arts, innovative music, substance, fanatical dedication, flakes, pretentious snobs, earthy individuals, and grizzly beings who wear the grit of their years on the inside.

Who I'd like to meet: my friends out in a lawn for a rocking tea party in the summertime. Watch out, the tea might be spiked. I suppose you should be wary of the lemonade as well.
p.s.: you're invited.
finders refused to carry our cd's because they didn't come in a jewel case. the owner of the store called us one day (after giving our cd's away for free for months) and said that "it would simply be easier on the both of us if they stopped carrying our album." i can't see how this is true. what he was basically saying is "were too lazy to figure out a way to sell this so you all can go fuck yrselves." he gave us back all our cd's and the the money we had made so far and we stopped dealing with them. i don't want to get started on that fucking place again...
i have tons of the cd's left in my bedroom at my parents house because no one wants to buy them so i'll be glad to bring up as many as are wanted. i have to mail some out to a few people who requested it as well. i don't know what you/i are doing in the next couple of days but we'll have to do something...
u should really consider calling me. We should do the coffee or dinner thing.. or the sitting on my porch catching up thing.. that sounds nice. ha. call me!
Hey, I unfortunately didn't get into Boredoms' 77 Drumfest because there was waaay more people than even they expected there. I did get to watch the whole thing from the Brooklyn Bridge which was sweet.Besides the sound of constant traffic the entire event was amazing. I also got to see Nick Zinner of the YYY's again. Since you were interested I'd figured I'd let you know the entire thing is already posted as an mp3 on Soulseek. all 1:43:06 (look at the numbers) of it. Here's a sample as well:
