KRELL is an amalgamation of sound and vision, showcasing bonecrushing metal riffing, acid bass philanderings, with corrosive melodies and phatty hooks . These Diezal Driven Dirge Masters draw musical influence from many of our darkest forefathers from Black Sabbath,NIN, and Joy Division ;to Anton Levey ,Sammy Davis JR and Pinhead Krell has molded a unique soundscape somewhere between The Cure, The Archies and Slayer..... Emerging from the ashes of Trenchmouth UK (Jym Krell) and Vulvaboy(AdamKravitz) in the late 90's,in Richmond, Virginia; Jym Krell began programming music for exotic dancers while working as a DJ. Instead of playing cheesy metal classics, Jym composed heavy techno covers and originals to accompany dance routines; thus the first single Ready For Love (a heavy techno cover of the Bad Co. classic) was contrived. Krell, as a musical entity, soon evolved into it's very own Experience, branding it's own southern style of SuperSonicCyberSludge with
A tasty dose of technical trickery; that's metamorphisized into its current sonic spectacle.
Krell quickly out grew their small town surroundings with the success
of their first independent release and tour of "The Dope Album". After a warm LA reception at the end of their first US tour, Krell decided to re-locate to Hollywood where they acquired a new rhythm section including bassist, Dirt (Society 1) and drummer Anna Yost (Resent, Cauterized). With the overlapping busy schedules of both Krell and Society1, bassist Alley Useless( FullMetalRacket, Level) stepped in, completing Krells current live lineup.
Krell has shared the stage with the likes of some of the musics heaviest and loudest artist such as : Lamb of God, Gwar, Godhead, KMFDM and Pigface to
name a few. Krell has two independent releases on their own label.
