O Kremate começou suas atividades em Abril de 1998, em São Paulo/SP, Brasil, quando Rodrigo Schmidt e Myke Ramos decidiram formar uma banda de Thrash Metal.
Durante 2 anos o Kremate teve várias diferentes formações mas Myke e Rodrigo compuseram algumas músicas no decorrer daquele tempo.
As constantes trocas de músicos tornaram impossíveis as apresentações ao vivo da banda naquele período mas, em Março de 2000, um novo baixista e um guitarrista se juntaram à eles e, apenas um mês depois, o grupo estava preparado para seu primeiro show. Então, o Kremate estabilizou sua formação com Rodrigo Schmidt (guitarra/vocal), Ricardo Fernandes (guitarra), Felipe Parmegiani (baixo) e Myke Ramos (bateria), e tocou em vários lugares de São Paulo e outras cidades.
Em dezembro do mesmo ano, a banda gravou uma Demo com cinco músicas, chamada “Eternal War”, e a espalharam o máximo que puderam. “Eternal War” foi bem recebida pelas revistas e zines especializados em Heavy Metal e pelos headbangers, e a banda fez vários shows para divulgar seu material.
Entre Março e Dezembro de 2002, o Kremate gravou 11 músicas para seu primeiro álbum que foi intitulado “Watch the End”. O grupo lançou seu álbum de maneira independente mas, por motivos financeiros, só puderam prensar 120 CDs. “Watch the End” também foi lançado, em versão tape, pelo selo japonês “Sabbathid Records”.
No início de 2003, a revista brasileira Valhalla escolheu 15 bandas, entre as bandas resenhadas na seção “demo section” de suas páginas, para gravar uma coletânea. O Kremate foi uma das bandas escolhidas e gravou uma música intitulada “Face your Life”. A coletânea recebeu o nome de “Valhalla Demo Section” e foi lançada em Janeiro de 2004, pelo selo “Seventies Fever Records”.
Em janeiro de 2005, o selo “Force Majeure Records” lançou o primeiro álbum do Kremate, porém, com nova capa e arte gráfica e o título “Watch the End” foi mudado para “Death: In the name of…”.
Em Abril de 2005 a banda gravou a música “Aftershock”, para o Tributo Brasileiro ao Anthrax. O tributo foi lançado em maio de 2007, pela “Collision Records”. Em Junho de 2005, duas músicas do álbum “Death: In the name of…” foram incluídas na coletânea “Warriors of Dark Sun”, lançada pela gravadora Dark Sun, em discos de vinil, como edição limitada (500 LPs). Também fizeram parte dessa coletânea, as bandas, Denim and Leather, Alcoholicoma e Statik Majik.
No começo de 2008, Myke e Ricardo deixaram o Kremate e, para seus lugares, entraram os irmãos Reginaldo Mota (guitarra) e Rodrigo Mota (bateria). O Kremate tocou em alguns festivais mas, apenas alguns meses depois, Felipe saiu da banda também e, Anderson Paes, foi o escolhido para ser o baixista.
Agora a banda está fazendo shows e compondo mais músicas que serão usadas em futuros materiais.

Kremate started on April, 1998, at Sao Paulo, Brazil, when Rodrigo Schmidt and Myke Ramos decided to form a Thrash Metal band.
During 2 years Kremate had many different lines-up but Myke and Rodrigo composed some songs in the course of that time.
The several changing of musicians turned impossible for the band to play on shows during that years but, on March, 2000, a bassist and a guitarist got together with them and, just one month later, the group was ready to their first show. So, Kremate established its line-up with Rodrigo Schmidt (guitar/vocals), Ricardo Fernandes (guitar), Felipe Parmegiani (bass) and Myke Ramos (drums), and played in many clubs of their hometown.
On December of that same year, they recorded a five-song “demo”, called “Eternal War”, and spread it as much as they could. “Eternal War” got a good reception by metal magazines, zines and thrashers, and the band played in too many places to promote it.
Between March and December, 2002, Kremate recorded 11 songs to its first album which title was “Watch the End”. The group released their debut by themselves, but the lack of money just let them press 120 CDs. After this, Watch the End was released as a tape version, by the japanese label Sabbathid Recs.
In the beginning of 2003, a Brazilian metal magazine called Valhalla chose 15 bands, among all the bands they reviewed on a “demo section” of their pages, to record a compilation CD. Kremate was one of the chosen bands and recorded a song called “Face your Life”. The compilation received the title “Valhalla Demo Section” and was released on January, 2004, by Seventies Fever Records.
On January, 2005, Force Majeure Records released Kremate's first album but with new graphic arts and changing the title “Watch the End” to “Death: In the name of…”.
On April, 2005, the band recorded “Aftershock” to be part of the Brazilian Tribute to Anthrax. The tribute was released on may, 2007, by Collision Recs. On June, 2005, two songs from “Death: In the name of…” were included in “Warriors of Dark Sun”, a compilation released by Dark Sun Records as a limited edition (500 LPs).
In the beggining of 2008, Myke and Ricardo left Kremate, and the brothers Reginaldo Mota (guitar) and Rodrigo Mota (drums) joined the band.
Kremate played in some festivals but, few months later, Felipe left the band and the bassist Anderson Paes occupied his place.
Nowadays Kremate is doing live concerts and composing more songs to be used on future releases.
