Kretinos 74

Bio:

Kretinos 74 (Kretins 74) is a band from So Paulo/Brazil that was started at the end of 2002, when four kids decided to bring back rocknrolls fun and simplicity. Its composed by Fabrcio (vocals), Denis (guitar and backing vocals), Gabriel (bass) and Henrique (drums). All of them have stage experience acquired from playing with other bands from the underground scene. They decided to put their efforts together to play something they all liked: Ramones. Besides being influenced by this famous punk group, Kretinos 74 has influences varying from 50s and 60s rock to the modern bubblegum. Their first CD, called Cretinos No Danam (Cretins Dont Dance) was released this year, by Ataque Frontal (Frontal Attack). This record has 12 original songs, composed by the group, in which the bands style and pourpose are clearly shown. Kretinos 74 has already opened shows for Chibuku (Germany), Guitar Gangsters, Lurkers (both from England) and The Queers (US), and has been on stage with great national undergroung bands, like Tequila Baby, Forgotten Boys, Lambrusco Kids, Holly Tree, Carbona, Excludos, Zumbis do Espao, Borderlinerz, Muzzarelas, Street Buldogs and The Thompsons. Now, Kretinos 74 is playing all around, promoting its first CD (which is having a good response from the audience) and its first video clip, featuring the song Cretino No Dana.
