First off, my name is Parker Fitzgerald and I am an artist and a student but not necessarily an author. This story itself is more of a hobby which I hope to someday turn into something more. My personal profile
is right here if you want to get to know me a little better!
So what is Kreuzfahrer?
Kreuzfahrer (pronounced "Kroits-fah-rer") comes from German literally meaning "cross-goer" or "cross-follower" and has come to be synonymous with the word "Crusader."
Set in the turbulent times between the second and third crusades, the story of Kreuzfahrer deals with politics, war, religion and humanity.
Originally, I had designed the story to be far more spiritual in nature, including vast battles between angels and demons but Kreuzfahrer has yet to manifest such aspects. I do ultimately intend to bring this spirituality to the forefront, though.
Perhaps my scope is too large, but I have always found history utterly facinating, especially the Medieval times. And I feel that the Crusades in particular are a period in time which never gets a fair shake.
For me, Kreuzfahrer is just as much about the drawings as it is about the writing. Drawing comes more naturally to me, and indeed the story began first with the sketches LONG before any words were actually written. So in that regard, I hope both are equally enjoyable!

----Kreuzfahrer Information----
Kreuzfahrer is released in small chapters each with an accompanying illustration. I don't write until I have a picture to support the chapter, so there aren't any specific release dates for new story.
As of now, new bits of story and pictures can only be seen through blogs. So please
subscribe so you don't miss anything!
Eventually, biographies on each character will be available as well.
I've also heard from some that the story is a bit hard to follow. Part of this I think comes from the fact that to date, the story has been lost amongst my own personal blogs, causing people to have to go hunting for each bit. I hope this Myspace will do a lot to dispell this difficulty.
Kreuzfahrer basically is split into two groups: Character history and the Main story. And I tend to jump back and forth between the two from chapter to chapter. Character history delves deep into the pasts of certain characters while main story moves the overall plot forward. Each blog will have a tag describing which branch of the story that particular section belongs to. This, I hope, will further increase the coherency of the story.
Finally, I am in no way a professional writer. Most of Kreuzfahrer is in its rough form so if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to pass them by me. I demand feedback, lol, either on the drawings or the story itself. I hope Kreuzfahrer is as enjoyable to read as it was to develop!
