The Krewe of Choctaw is one of the oldest Mardi Gras parading organizations in the New Orleans area. Founded in 1935, Choctaw parades on the Westbank of New Orleans, in the suburbs of Terrytown and Gretna. The parade is very family friendly and allows adults and children to parade and simply have fun. Nasty people need not apply to ride with Choctaw.
