KrimsonmasK is a term used to describe when a persons face is covered in blood plain and simple. Damian Plague started this project in 2006 in Germany. Originally from the USA (greater NYC/NJ areas) , Damian had not only achieved succes as a DJ and promoter , but found he had talent as a frontman and co producer . To know who KrimsonmasK is now , you would have to know where it has been first. Krimsonmask is basicly a collective of all the projects Damian has been involved in as a creative force. Although Damian could be seen popping out on stage as a Keyboard player for bands like Das Ich and Grendel ...they were not his own projects. Come to think of it , until now , this is really the first charge forward in Damians music carreer. Selfless was the first project involved with some of the tracks you would here live on stage from KrimsonmasK. It was founded early 2004 by Adam Waters and Damian Plague. Adams musical genius and Damians lyrical ability along with some minor music knowledge helped fuel Selfless toward a record deal with Danse Macabre in Germany. Sadly enough , Damian had moved to Germany and the distance had become too great to really root down and make new material. Selfless is on hiatus for now but the spirit of this great project can be appreciated live through some songs in the KrimsonmasK setlist. Next Damian collaborated with renowned Bruno Kramm of Das Ich . Their project (Angstfabric) had only one release on a few prominent Goth/Industrial compilations throughout Europe. Both Bruno and Damian had too much on their plates to continue on but, it doesn't mean there isn't a future for this particular project. Next was a colaboration with Zero from the German project Invidious . Zero and Damian created two cover songs . One a nasty version of "Losing my religion" by REM and the other "See you in Hell" by Suicide Commando . Neither were officially released for sale but, many were given away for free to wanting fans at concerts in Europe. Now Damian resides back in the good ol USA hoping to return one day to his new home base Germany (Aachen) . For now Damian has 3 new songs completely created by him for KrimsonmasK. The first single is Breaking Your Face . It will be released on a 3 song cd called Thr33 . KrimsonmasK is now currently performing live shows with a real live additive...guitars, keyboards and bass . Not to mention the theatrical element involved as should be for people who go to see... A SHOW ! ENJOY
