Krimsha is a new up and coming band hailing out of the Midwest with a very long history of friendship, life, dreams, passion, failure, hope, and experiences to express through music. What is Krimsha? It's an idea to make something beautiful. It's an example to show the world that you can still empower a mind and instill faith and hope in people with music... It's an example that shows that we are all still alive, even though it may seem the world is falling apart at the seams with negativity, we still have a choice to not succumb to the feeling.. It's all mood and it's all melodies.. It's a message...
The band was formed in late summer of 2008 by Bryan, Brooks, Kevin, Cory, and Josh. There was no try outs or anything like that.... Just more along the lines of a mutual decision that we should do this project.. And from the second we stepped foot into the rehearsal room until present day, the idea is only getting bigger and the motivation to do this is only growing stronger.. We believe there is purpose in this band.. Even though the name Krimsha has no definition, we strive to make one for the word at every show and with every new song.
We have recently teamed up with Canadian producer Trevor Kustiak (of Evans|Blue, Rains, Vaeda, etc.) and are due to record our first professional demo in Nov 2009. We are all very excited and ambitious about it as we feel this will give our music a better representation of the idea. In the meantime, we are keeping very busy rehearsing, writing, and playing shows. You can expect much much more to come.. This is still just getting warmed up.
we will be ready with our new drummer (Chukk Wood from Aprilz a Whore) in about 3 weeks unfortunately this does not mean we will be recording. We have decided as a band that playing out is more important then making a CD that no one will buy. Once they like our new music then we'll record a CD for THEM. :) so lets set up a show with RPwigs and Rock out!
