About me:

Based in Seattle I teach Goju-Ryu Karate primarily but also teach Kobudo and Judo at our dojo, the West Seattle Karate Academy. Tae Kwon Do was the first art I trained in starting at age 15. (1976) Goju-Ryu followed later as with Judo. Having traveled to other countries to teach and to learn (Asia, Europe, and North America) I have found that karate and the martial arts in general serves as an international passport to some of the greatest people I have ever met. I wish everybody in the arts to be as fortunate as I have been in my training, teaching, and making new friends across the world.   • Heroes

    I don’t really have heroes I have people the have qualities that I admire like Winston Churchill, Stonewall Jackson, Mother Theresa, St. Anthony, Padre Pio, and a lot of people around the world that quietly go about the business of doing the right thing, even when it is the hardest choice.

    lol i brought my friend so ito can play wit him last night. lol he punched ito twice and on the second one he was like "ouch" cuz his knuckled hurted. Then ito punched him and i wish i had a pic of his face going pink from the lack of oxygen. totally beautiful.
