I've read plenty of books, mostly in school. Such as: Catcher in the rye, Charlotte's web, to kill a mocking bird. Various other history fact based kind of books. To be honest though, music I like, reading...not so much.
I'm Kris. I'm 27. I moved up to Ridgecrest for a bit with my family, but most of my friends are still in diamond bar and the surrounding area. After lots of garage band expeditions, I decided I wanted to work alone for awhile. I play guitar and keyboard but my favorite thing at the moment is my akai...its my baby. In highschool I was told white guys cant listen to hip-hop. Looking back now, I almost wonder if that goaded me into diving further in. Not just listening to it anymore. Making it. As the days go by I dive further and further. I love movies, epic medieval battles like 300 to "stupid" movies like Anchorman. I have no idea why, that movie is just corny(but soo good lol) One of my all time favorite movies though goes to 50 first dates. No idea why, I think Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore just seemed to have a chemistry that made for a good movie. (Rob Schneider makes me laugh too. No idea why.) For some reason the newer comic movies as well. When it comes down to it. I the guy who doesnt ignore anyone. Sometimes I just end up somewhere else. I promise you though, not ignoring you. If anything you may have inspired the trip..and I mean that in a good way. Normal life growin up, nothin crazy. I have a bit of anxiety problem BUT it gets better everyday. My folks are in my friends list lol. Theyre ministers and apparently theyre proud of me as their son. So how about makin yourself proud to be my friend? =)
I enjoy Hip-Hop. I think people dismiss sampling too quickly. Put some effort into listening to the original and the sample. Stronger is NOT a straight rip of Daft Punk. Does it use the song, yes, but if you listen...he made a new song..out of an existing song. Sampling nowadays can be as amazing as playing your melody on a guitar. You use your instruments. I'll use mine. Let's all just accept that music, is music. To someone, its the most amazing thing they'll ever hear. That alone makes it priceless.

I know, it has been forever. I have been busy with work and sleep. I am currently trying to start a Hard-Core band, I need a bassist, and at least 1 guitar player. Everyone that I have met either sucks or flakes.

Nothing really interesting... We are planning a really long cross country vacay this summer so that's kind of exciting, but other then that the coolest thing in our life right now is watching Big Love and 30 Rock...
