I was born in London, UK. My family roots are in Kashmir, India..... in a place called Sri Nagar, the place where St. Thomas and Yeshua (Jesus) lived together. A place steeped in devotion and spirituality. I'm a singer songwriter, with 3 cd's released so far. My Gurudeva in India suggested to me in 1996 that I should start writing and performing English devotional songs. I never had any intentions of singing until then. Four of the songs from the new CD are up on my myspace page as a preview! I write all my own music with my husband Robin Wing. These songs are filled with poetic words that express the deeper sentiments & wisdom of Divine love. We have an awesome new band we put together, and are playing shows all over the US and Canada over the next year. Our band has Uddhava on tribal drums, Micaela playing keyboards and angelic back-up vocals, Robin Wing (my partner) on acoustic guitars, drum and back-up vocals, he is also my co-writer, and me upfront..... we're very excited about our new sound, we've developed so much even since recording Beneath The Rose (our latest cd). We are getting ready to go back into the studio to record our next two cd's. One will be a straight up yoga / devotional cd, the other more English divine songs. Feeling good, alot of good music coming..... our main mission is to put out healing energy into the ether, and help raise the vibration as the world and the people on it change and grow into a new way of being. I aim to take people on a wonderful journey into ancient understandings, and beauty of angelic moments of healing. This music is healing for the heart, mind, body and soul. There's plenty of upbeat loud music out there, and not enough beauty, so I want to put beauty into the ether to help balance out all the weird stuff. I currently live in Alachua, FL with my sweet husband (and guitarist!) Robin Wing and 2 daughters, Nayana age 7 and Syamali age 3. I'm an advocate for animal protection, and think we should close down all the slaughter houses and go veg! Oh, and while we're on that subject we should end all wars, feed all the starving, house the homeless and end all racism between all races with all the money being spent on weapons. An idealist....? Maybe not..... the time is now. .. .. .. .. ..
