Influenced since childhood by singer/songwriters, this 26 year old songstress stretches her love of different genres into crafting her own musical style. Inspired by pop, folk, jazz and blues music, she creates deeply personal songs fueled by raw vocals and relate-able lyrics. Writing all her songs on her acoustic guitar, they are the stories of her life thus far. Her Breakups, fears, insecurities and want for something more are chronicled in her melodically driven music.
Growing up in the suburbs of Massachusetts, Krista began singing as long as anyone can remember. Beginning to write songs at the young age of eleven, she quickly realized she wanted to be more than just a pretty voice. Exploring poetry by Pablo Neruda, Shakespeare, Marjorie Agosin and others, inspired her to write as passionately as she felt. Not soon after she began playing the guitar, she started composing music intuitively and from her heart.
Continuing her everyday growth as an artist, Krista looks forward to making a splash in the music industry and with fans. Although she has far to go, she is undaunted by her chances of succeeding in the business. She remains always positive about her future and her music.
