Krista D is a vivacious and enigmatic pop/rock artist from the east coast of Canada. Set to record the follow up to her nationally distributed album "Jane's World" she is also preparing for the production of her first video.

"Jane's World" had been primarily marketed to the Hot AC market but with the upcoming album Krista has decided to take a different approach to the production. "The way we recorded the album, even though it sounded ultra-polished, became a bit of a hindrance." "It was great that it was able to gain heavy rotation on Canadian stations as a result of the sound quality, but the money it takes to remain competitive in that market is near impossible for an indie artist."

Krista's artistic image is considered Fashion Fusion. Since the name Krista D is a vague reference to the late actress Sandra Dee there are stylistic elements combined from the 50's up to modern day sub-culture fashion."Since I'm a musician, a body piercer and a tattoo apprentice the clothes I make are well adapted to both my careers."

With the national exposure gained by the debut album, the addition of a new band member, and the shift in artistic direction, 2008 is bound to be an exciting year for the band.
