Patchwork is a local St. John's, independant company that is focused on creating and supporting local emerging art in St. John's and Newfoundland.
I'm a writer/actor/director originally from the small community of Dunville, Placentia Bay. I moved to Corner Brook after high school and completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts there in 2004, after which I move to St. John's and finished MUN's Diploma in Performance and Communications Media. I'm still in St. John's where I'm active in the arts community and I teach Children's Enrichment to pay the bills! Patchwork is my 'soul' project, which helps me stay sane and explore my love and dedication to the arts, and especially in developing and sharing local art in Newfoundland. I have produced to shows here in town, "Where from Here" (2005) and "In the Spotlight" (2006), both at the Rabbittown Theatre. I also help put off the RCA's Backdoor Cabaret once a month at the LSPU Hall, and I've been a part of a few productions other than my own since I've been in St. John's. I'm very excited about the work being done in St. John's and I look forward to contributing to through Patchwork Productions! A special thanks for Chris Sooley who graciously designed my logo.
