I love to read, dig in the dirt, talk to people, Sunday football, Texas hold em', the Man Deck, discovering a way to have a clean, clutter-free house without any work. My life as a happy granola has only grown by better purses and jewelry. My feet are typically bare.
Music
Where to begin-I worship my IPOD. My life can be found in my music choices. Sometimes I don't even remember why I even pick certain songs! Check out Lori McKenna. Her stories are simply amazing. Currently I stay on top of the NEW music scene with my two younger kids and try to have a clue about my oldest kid's music. WHEN DID I GET SO OLD???
Movies
My NEW ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIE is Juno. This movie blew my mind! Talk about art imitating life! Everything you could ever want in a teenage disaster-with the best diologue ever. My usual all time fave is-The Big Chill. I have just started realizing that not everyone had a defining moment in highschool. I had so many I can't remember most.
Television
Do I even watch TV? Hardly ever. I can't even seem to watch a movie in one sitting. I seem to have adult onset ADD. I usually can be found watching reruns of Seinfeld, Two and a Half Men, and Still Standing while reading a book. I love odd ball PBS shows, and of course, TIVO. Otherwise, I live with the Food Network...it is great white noise. So is ESPN-all forty channels! I finally burned out on HGTV.
Books
All Ayn Rand:please read them and not the Cliff Notes. It just doesn't work.
I read any and everything. It's a sickness.
I will admit, with a poker face, I have really gotten into ROMANCE novels.
Heroes
I'm not sure. People that can survive the worst and still manage to really live again and rise slowly to the surface, and be something more when they get there.
People that are proud of their choices.
People that can look back with no regrets.
I love captains who would go down with their ship.
I love decision makers. I love people who make it happen and stand behind what they do.
About me: I am all about the right vibes! I love to make new friends, but I know pretty quickly who will last. I love to read, wish I wrote more often, love my kids, my hubby, and my pets! They said they had a great visit. Yuppers...bought a Canon Rebel...I love it. I looked at picnik, it has the same editing features I have on the new Mac computer I bought. I have fallen in love with flickr. I post some stuff there. Tell Rob I love his photos. They are awesome. Love, Stacy
I am so sorry but I can't find Jakes book. It was done and ready to be mailed. I left it on my counter and then the cleaning lady came. I can't find it. I can print out the info and put it into a steno book again, but I don't have the information of where to mail it to. What do you want me to do. Kelly, I am so sorry. I am back in school full time, working full time, and taking care of all of Justin's activities. It has been crazy busy here. I did do Jakes project for New york, Pa, and delaware. Jo has family in all of those places. I will send it back today during my lunch. Hope all is going well for you. Love to Rob and the kids.
